This photograph was taken in the Ashtamudi lake region in the State of Kerala, India. It had just rained, the sun was breaking through the clouds. To me, the image speaks of the cross roads we often find ourselves in, and of our struggles to emerge from the darkness into the light. We search for the bridges that will take us to better places.
