BUILDING...ART: Looking Up

This is a collection of specific architectural images: the ceilings of a recently built exhibition space located in a much larger contemporary structure in Valencia, Spain. The images are presented as a series of abstractions where the geometry, lighting, and detailing are enhanced through traditional photo editing. What the images reflect is one step in investigating the built world as a series of much smaller parts. The results also tell their own stories. As such, the images are meant to investigate the promise of “building…art”.
