I took these photos in my hometown, Chengdu, an ancient Chinese historical and cultural city founded 3,000 years ago.
I want to use them to show the integration of people, environment, architecture and culture in the streets and alleys. During the shooting, I used various clothing packaging bags to make some special filters to create a hazy atmosphere of light and shadow, turning the real images into unreal ones. These photos do not only come from my eyes, but also from my true inner self.

I began photographing from the late 80s. Over the years, I have developed interests in various photography styles and in recent years, I have been focused on Chinese street photography.
