Pictures in “Devotion” portray moments of spiritual nature and of everyday life during a journey through Asia. Is devotion about our praise to something considered sacred? Or, in its subtle manifestations, is it about the deep emotions and mystery in life? This series peeps into our hidden intensity and portrays the multicultural aspect of our search for the transcendental in our collective and inner worlds. I wonder how are we devoting ourselves? To which gods? And why is it no longer valid to surrender and search for the divine?
