Prayer for Peace

In Paro, a town in the Kingdom of Bhutan, I was very lucky to happen upon a weekend-long Bhuddistic Prayer for Peace ceremony. Monks in front, lay believers behind them, several hundred in all. After ensuring that I was welcome to take pictures, I ended up spending several hours among the monks and the congregation. Though the light conditions were far from ideal, I refrained from using a flash light in order to not disturb the ceremony and to preserve the atmosphere which was as authentic as it gets.
