"Wah Fu Estate", built in 1967, is one of the most iconic public housing estates in Hong Kong known for its spectacular views overlooking the South China Sea. This historic public housing estate is a playground and a collective memory of many locals growing up, but is due to be demolished and redeveloped in 2027. Its history will be lost forever unless carved into film. Titled "Playground", this series of work features teenagers and the enjoying their frolics in the final days of this home soon-to-be-gone.
