Building on my panoramic photographs, this image from my Strata series shifts to a composite picture that merges four layers horizontally. From the top California's misty Channel Islands; next Truro Beach near Provincetown, Cape Cod; below Truro rest the frozen waters of Thunder Beach, Ontario, with a spit of land visible on the right; and in the bottom image birds take flight over the calm waters of Nazare, Portugal.
