Is 'Maternity' just ‘happiness'?
For me, someone who has endured multiple miscarriages, each day became a series of moments for prayer. As an performing artist, I also worried about the physical changes. What about the future of this baby? Should I have to become a ‘mother like’? There are countless things to agonize over.
These maternity photos taken during the tenth month of my pregnancy aren’t just a ‘symbol of happiness’. Anxiety and confusion, and the continuity of existence that has persisted since time immemorial. The sensation that we are united.
