The famous Norwegian artist Edvard Munch once said:
”When I saw my naked body in profile I decided after consulting my vanity, to dedicate more time to throwing stones, the javelin and to swim more”
He said this about the nude self-portrait taken with his camera in 1903.
On the other side of the Atlantic, Anne Brigman said:
”In all of my years of work with the lens, I’ve dreamed of and loved to work with the human figure – to embody it in rocks and trees, to make it part of the elements, not apart from them.”
My ongoing series is inspired of Brigman and Munchs work.
