Evening Light

In my work titled ‘Evening Light,’ I intentionally diverge from straightforward photography. Inspired by the Pictorialist movement, I embrace beauty, tonality, and composition. The Pictorialists rebelled against the notion that a photograph was a mere factual record. They believed photography deserved a place alongside painting and sculpture in fine art. In this image, I echo their sentiment, blurring lines between reality and imagination. ‘Evening light’ envelops the scene, casting a dreamlike veil over the landscape. Softened edges invite viewers to explore emotions and wonder.
