I had better submit these before I change my mind. I have battled Major Treatment Resistant Depression for over thirty years. Despite my mental health struggles I have always tried to find and appreciate beauty all around me, being particularly drawn to textures. The images in this series look very different from the photographs I have before now produced. In recent months I have been on a rollercoaster mentally and maybe this has influenced these images, which just popped into my mind recently. The first I called Void and I thought this was a one-off. But then one by one came the others.
