Shot where the River Thames, passes under the M25, one of Britain's busiest motorways. Even here, the security cameras are deemed necessary. The bridge actually consists of a modern concrete span together with an older brick-based original bridge, whose texture drew me to take the shot.

I have been shooting digital photography for over 15 years, concentrating on landscapes, cityscapes and portrait photography. I prefer to shoot the unusual and overlooked scenes rather than images that are approaching the twee.

I am now retired after working for 35 years as an IT project manager. This has allowed me to try new opportunities: I occasionally work as a film extra and have also set up my own photography tours of London. Both of these are now on hold for the foreseeable future, thanks to the interesting times we find ourselves in.
