Nostalgia meets modern-day. Why are photo booths still so popular in an era of smartphones and selfies? These refurbished, iconic booths from the '60s and '70s at the county fair were flooded with people anxious for photos. But why the popularity? These booths offered a welcome break from the digital world in a society obsessed with social media and the constant need for validation.
