Drangarnir Sea Arch

I've been dreaming of taking a photo of Drangarnir Sea Arch for years and it was in April 2023 that I was able to make it happen, when I spent a week in the Faroe Islands.

I wanted to give dynamism and an artistic feel to my composition with Drangarnir Sea Arch in the background, so I used a long pause for the water, to see the movement of the waves. But I wanted to keep the sky sharp, because the texture of the clouds was magnificent. To make this photo, I recomposed several shots in Photoshop, one after the other.

As a Swiss landscape photographer, my artistic journey began with drawing at the age of 4, and 11 years later, I discovered my passion for photography during a school course. Photography quickly became a means of expression and an enduring passion for me.
