An overflowing ballot box

The highest turnout in elections in Poland since the first free elections in 1989.
The queue to the ballot box stretched through the corridors of the school, then through the playground,
where volunteers handed out blankets and hot drinks.
Anyone who lined up before 9:00 p.m. could cast a valid vote.
Around 11:00 p.m., the Chairwoman of the District Electoral Commission No. 48 kneaded the overflowing ballot box with the Polish flag,
making room for new votes.
The last vote in Wrocław was cast at 2.45 a.m.
