In Iran, the people of Lor perform various mournings, including the death of family members or religious mourning. Golmali is pronounced as Kharehgiri in Lori language. Khare means mud. And in Lekki Hari is pronounced Malin, Hari means mud. Golmali ritual is held on the day of Ashura in the month of Muharram in the western provinces of Iran, in the Zagros region, especially Lorestan. Also, in parts of Khuzestan, Markazi and Hamedan provinces, the Golmali ceremony is seen on the day of Ashura. They don't clean their clothes and mourn strangers at dinner
