The camargue horses are a photographers dream, as the combined landscape of wild seas and sand dunes is an incredible setting to photograph these animals.

This was shot over a series of days spent with the horses which meant I got to understand how they ran and moved to trust that I could lie very low and be in safe position not to be trampled on. To get this shot I dug a hole in the sand to get even lower and create an image where it feels like the horses are running over you.
