My young daugher, Penelope, and I headed out to this spot about 15 times trying to catch just the right sunset on a cold winter's evening -the perfect alignment of color, fresh snow, and a windless day to capture the reflections. I wanted to impart in her the beauty of nature and the magic of photography. She made me promise to give her a dollar for every print sold for her trouble.
