Over the past 26 weeks, Israel has witnessed a wave of protests against what many perceive as a judicial coup and the transformation of the country from a democracy to a dictatorship.
The protesters claim that Netanyahu's ongoing legal battles and his refusal to step down even though an indictment has been filed against him, cause him and his emissaries in the government to enact personal laws that undermine the principles of democracy.
The demonstrators demand the preservation of democracy and the rule of law, as well as the cancellation of any attempt at unilateral legislation on the issue
