"Yoshida's Fire Festival" is one of the most strange festival in Japan.
On the night of festival, people light many flames in the streets of the city to thank the gods and to pray that Mount Fuji will not erupt again ,every year.
That night the streets of the city are filled with flames.
Strangely enough, I found myself very calm and content as I watched the flames fill the city.
This series of photographs captures such a mysterious experience that is etched in my mind.
