TOGETHER represents the symbolic meaning of bridges as connectors and facilitators of communication and exchange. In a world where conflicts and divisions seem to be more prevalent than ever, it is crucial that we make efforts to come together and bridge our differences. Even in the face of adversity, we can find strength in unity and overcome challenges that would be impossible to tackle alone.
The combination of camera movement and in camera multi exposure of Shanghai’s multi-coloured Waibaidu Bridge at night radiates the energy and power of unification, collaboration and hope.
With a background in surface science, I am drawn to details, patterns, textures, forms and colours that surround us and influence our feelings. They are the basis of my inspiration and provide the frames to my works. Through the combination of various camera techniques, I transform these frames and their colours into abstracts that bring my visual imagination to life.
Having lived in a variety of countries I have the strong desire to bridge the gap of cultural differences and raise awareness to the beauty of nature through my works.
