Lines & Curves in an Ode to architecture as an attempt to recognise and celebrate modern Architects' work.
I chose black and white as treatment of my images to highlight the main features of each building and remove the distraction of the environment they sit in. I made the deliberate choice to shape the light in a way that emphasises the main features of each structure, with strong lines and anchor points that would normally be missed or ignored by passerby in normal life.
Based in Sydney, French-Australian photographer Stephane Thomas enjoys seeing the world through the lens of a camera.
His interests range across many genres from landscape, architecture, aerial to environmental portraits.
He is particularly fascinated by the possibilities that black and white photography offers, allowing him to magnify a subject while pushing back less essential elements.
