It was very cold as the ships captain steered us slowly down the Lemaire Strait on the Antarctica Peninsula. I was the only one on deck taking photos as I was struck by the light penetrating the clouds on these icy snow covered craggy hill tops that seemed so surreal and ethereal as the mist came and went.
