Growing up as a woman in India, the act of stepping out after dark is one of defiance and reckless courage, in face of violent sexual crimes against women and social restrictions. Moving to Switzerland in 2020 for the first time in my life I found nighttime to be peaceful, magical playground rather than a battlefield. This experience is one of Bekhauf Azaadi -a Hindi phrase that means "Fearless Freedom" which remains but a distant dream for most women in India and around the world.
I share this vision in hopes that someday more womxn around the world are able to experience this magic.
