The Colour Studies blend traditional techniques of macro photography and depth of field with experiments of layering and blending, creating unpredictable images that explore the nuances of surface, colour, and texture. Producing a style that is instantly identifiable, the images blur the boundary between photography and art.

Awards Recent awards include International Photography Awards (2019, 2020), International Color Award (2021), a Bronze Medal from ThePhotograph, and 2nd place and honorable mention for the WideWorld Photography Gala Awards. Colour Study #6 was awarded the 2020 Gracie Award, “Best in Show” from the International Society of Experimental Artists.
