The buildings in urban villages are very dense, resulting in poor lighting conditions, and the sanitation here is relatively poor. However, the people here live very comfortably. Unlike the fast-paced city life in the outside, life in urban villages is slow-paced. Children run around the cleaning truck, middle-aged people play chess, and the elderly gather to have their lunch. As I record these scenes, I feel that this place is completely a separate time and space from the metropolis.
