Sand dunes present endless variations of curves and textures. Basic geometric entities are supreme human abstractions, having neither contrasts nor textures. Both emanate balance and concord.

Superimposing dunes with translucent geometric entities establishes a new space and harmony is the core of this space. It is like moving from a single-voice tune to a polyphony where everything is aligned with harmony and accord.

The final image stimulates intimate associations and visual memories. It offers a refreshment of balance in mind and emotions, an escape from ever-present noise and chaos.

Marek Boguszak is a Prague-based photographer whose work transforms desert landscapes into perceptual abstractions. He reconstructs landscape through shifts in color, light, orientation, and form, gradually moving the image between photography and abstraction. By transforming chromatic topologies, he creates visually unstable spaces that resist fixed interpretation. Marek has presented solo exhibitions at international venues in Zurich (CH), Bern (CH), Barcelona (ESP), Campione (IT), London (UK), Prague (CZ).
