The Last Cacophony
"The Last Cacophony" forms part of my "Bush Tapestries" series of photographic Artworks created entirely from my photographs. Inspired by the award winning documentary entitled the "Black Cockatoo Crisis", this work aims to raise awareness about Australia's threatened species and the importance of conservation efforts. With a nod to tapestries of the Arts and Crafts era, this work features the three black cockatoos from Western Australia that are threatened with extinction, along with native flora from its' habitat, also all listed as threatened or rare.
