The Last Place

Until a century ago, people were born at home and died at home. However, most people today are born and die in hospitals. Even now, many elderly people do not stay in the hospital for a while, but they are hospitalized until they die.

When older people are admitted to the hospital, they are given a bed and bedside table of a certain size, regardless of who they were in the past. They keep their belongings and valuables necessary for hospital life in the provided bedside table. Then, when they get sick and die, the items in the tables are removed.
