Stolen Memories

The word intimacy comes from the Latin INTIMUS (in-tumus) which means 'which is inside', figuratively 'very familiar'.
A few days ago I returned home to find it completely robbed. The thieves took everything away. All the jewellery of my mum and aunt and my grandparents. The sentimental value is immense. People who are no longer there, people I loved to wear, because in the end it was the only thing I had left. My home space, violated, everywhere. My memories, violated. The photos remain. And the empty boxes.
These photos are an unconventional self-portrait of how I feel now.
