The photo was taken in a no man's zone of West China. The wild land under the bright Milky Way ignites my impulse to explore unknown space. Visualizing the path between two rocky mountains perfectly represents a gateway where human beings just step out into the enormous apace, I asked a friend to hold a light at the gate, lighting up the scene. In order to capture the dark scene with acceptable quality, I took three pictures with very different shutter speeds, 6s, 180s, and 147s respectively, using ioptron SkyTracker to shoot the Milky Way, and then blend them into the final picture.
