I saw something different.

Osteosarcoma is the most common type of cancer that begins in teenager’s bones, usually in the arms or legs. Limited movement, bone pain, a lump and an unexplained broken bone are the most common symptoms. Many treatments are available. If the osteosarcoma doesn’t spread to other parts of the body, the survival rate is around 70%. The X-rays show the cancer that might even look like something else. A strange beauty that counteracts the fear dictated by the word cancer. The images show young people that disease can be seen with different eyes.

Born in Gorizia in 1961, I began to approach photography seriously in 2012 and from that moment a renewed passion for this art was born, which in reality was present even before but of which I did not realize it. After the first photography course, I felt the need to continue training, mine became a continuous search for a personal style.
After some collective exhibitions and some photos published in national magazines I started to propose my works, participating in some national and international contests, attending workshops and seminars with professional photographers.
