The Wisdom of Japanese Winter

"Wakihonjin Okuya" is a house that served as a reserve facility for government officials and wholesale dealers at the time. At that time, the house served as a reserve lodging facility for officials and a wholesale store, and is now open to the public as a museum facility.

Here is a photo of the hearth and glow taken at Wakihonjin Okuya.

The glow of light at Wakihonjin Okuya is a winter-only scene (December to February).

The peak of the glow is around the time of the winter solstice, when beautiful light enters deep into the hearth, and after the winter solstice, the glow gradually recedes.

Born in Japan, age 45.
I started taking photographs as a hobby 10 years ago.
I am happy to have people see my photos on SNS, so I mainly take photos of landscapes in Japan. This has led to a gradual increase in photography jobs.

I have been actively challenging overseas photo contests for several years now.
I would like to continue to freely take what I want to photograph.

My major contest awards are listed below.
