Playtime - Exploring motion blur

The Playtime series is about capturing unique motion blur photos with slow shutter speed.
In the scene, the subject is a vintage doll and I used the motion blur effect to give the impression of a living subject. Vibrant colours and strong shadows assisted me in capturing the essence of movement in each photograph and bringing it to life.
Creating this photo series was a fun challenge because I wanted to replicate the same effect across all of the photos.
Rather than creating or adjusting the motion effect in post-production, I developed a motion controller to capture the actual doll movement

I was born in Italy and grew up in a family of musicians and photographers, whose passion for the art form profoundly influenced me.
At the beginning of my career, I embarked on the path of an illustrator, employing traditional art techniques.
As I continued to develop my skills, I naturally gravitated towards realistic decorations and paintings, particularly the fascinating technique of trompe l'oeil. It was a relatively straightforward step that allowed me to make my work larger and bolder before eventually transitioning to digital art and exploring modern technology.
