Facing Time Together

The Facing Time Together is a long-term photographic project that began in 2015. The photographs show what a female artist faces in today’s society. I explore age, gender and occupational discrimination in a symbolic way. Each image is both a personal epiphany and a universal truth that calls for an investigation of the obstacles preventing millions of women from reaching their full potential. I pose questions about difficult issues and suggest ways of coping through self-care. Pigment transfer technique is instrumental in expressing misplacement often experienced by female creators.
