"Seven Miles El Progresso" is the name of this sleepy village amidst the land of jungle and waterfalls in Belize. At the heart of the small community is a hut that houses a new cafe. The owners take pride in their signature smoothies, and my curiosity led me to ask if I could enter their behind the scenes world in the kitchen. I must admit I didn't expect such a captivating combination of shiny equipment and a dazzling smile from the smoothie crafting barista, also the sister of the owners, who helps when they tend children or go off to procure fresh ingredients.
