Documenting the grace of the dancers, I don’t idealize them but show their energy and commitment. Visual city rhythms underscore motions, and harmony between shapes and figures accentuates true emotions of the dancers. The geometry of a dancer and a city merge and stimulate a vibration that can be felt, seen and heard.

I am a self-taught photographer, however I have been taking photographs for all my life. I started when I was 12 and my first camera was Zenit TTL, that was a birthday present from my grandparents. I started with taking photos of my classmates, then I switched my focus to urban landscapes being interested in exploring reflection off water, ice, and glass. A few years ago I started capturing dancers in dance studios and later in city landscapes.
I organized personal exhibitions in Russia, Latvia, Netherlands, Italy and France and I'm a participant in exhibitions in USA and Italy.
