The MEGA DROUGHT in California, Nevada, and Arizona is already worse in 2022. Deserts are on fire. Forests are burning. Pastures are a tinderbox. Lakes are nearly empty. Mighty rivers are reduced to puddles. This bread basket to the world is withering with no immediate end in sight. NASA predicts that the drought to last till 2030 in the western USA. The drought in the USA along with the loss of farming in the Ukraine will cause mass starvation around the world.
