Melting point

Increased CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions from the burning of fossil fuels and mining industries cause the ice caps and glaciers to meltdown. This series of images show the direct consequence of melting glacial rivers in Iceland. Every summer the glaciers melt but each year water is increasingly losing replacement from the winter snow. The roaring river carries millions of tons of water. Imagine this happening on a global scale soon the citizens of coastal and island regions such as Venice & Maldives will soon become climate refugees in the foreseeable future.
