Remembrance of Innocence

Remembrance of Innocence is a highly personal document of twelve days travelling the North Wales Pilgrims path during the Covid 19 pandemic

Originally a commission, this pilgrimage became a deep and emotional exploration of personal grief, catharsis, and connection to the land, place and space I inhabited. Made two weeks before I returned to London, I pondered how to navigate my way through a changed physical and emotional world, grieving for what once was and may never be again. Embracing solitude and silence, I revisited thirty years of life in Wales and with tears and love, I let it go.
