Hippocrene

An early morning in the Vallès Oriental region of Catalonia, Spain. I was on my way to do a photoshoot of a women and her horse when suddenly an incredible misty light came through the trees and at the same time the horse jumped over a small stream creating this magical moment.



Amélie Louys is a Danish/French photographer based in France. She worked as a EU-cultural project manager for 10 years in Spain while spending her free time doing travel and documentary photography. In the last years, she developed her vision towards fine art genre. She particularly enjoys photographing the Atlantic beaches in Europe. She uses a minimalist esthetic in the scenes she photographs often integrating silhouettes and using space in a way to transmit the serenity and quietude these places bring to her.
