Still life with seafood presented on a marble table with a bouquet of peonies and tulips. The shape of every edible item resembles the shape of flowers. The ceramics are Dutch royal Delft and the tear bottle on the right was originally used by the wife's of fishermen, who collected their tears of longing to prove how much they missed them. This dreamy still life suggest the husband has just returned. The tropical bird who passes by and the whole style of this artwork echoes the Dutch old masters of still life and old forgotten traditions.
