Way and Means: River Pollution England

Rivers effect and connect us all, devastatingly however in England they’re so polluted that only one is clean enough to swim in.

This is because raw sewage is spilled on a near constant basis in rivers across the country, as profits take precedence over people and our environment.

Ways and Means is a collection of portraits of those directly affected. Helping teach us to love and protect these delicate eco-systems.

I have been exploring the human condition, nature and their cross-over through my work for the last 20 years. Recognising photography’s ability to draw focus on important topics and help form opinion, I have strived to use the medium to create lasting development, restoring the balance of humans in nature.
