Permanent Pandemic Romance

  • Photographer

This is a collection of lovers' snapshots from the future. After 10 years of pandemics, all humans are suspected carriers of disease. Personal protective equipment has now moved from the outside world into our most intimate relationships with friends, lovers, and spouses. We are all encased in bio-safe bubbles, defended from smiles and human touch, afraid to speak, unable to listen.

What would romance look like when the fear of our own mortality infects every aspect of our being? How would we go on a date, share a meal, or make love? Yet somehow we must go on. Yearning for each other.
