As visual creatures, we have found a way to feed our creativity through breeding animals to enhance and enjoy the many effects of genetic mutation and code.

His job; to be bred in the hope of passing on specific colour gene - a shiny, almost metallic coat. Genetics can be pushed to the point of breaking, and most mutations will not only carry interesting coat patterns, colours or characteristics; they will also carry disease, pain and suffering.

The idea that we are breeding animals more for aesthetic beauty, for ornamental value instead of the functional uses that once were.
