Seeing the shafts of light in the canyon is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. It was a surreal feeling being surrounded by the towering cliffs. Torrential record rainfalls had flooded the entire gorge. The only way I could capture this special moment of the weeping walls was after an incredibly torrential rain. As I stood in awe of the scene, the sun broke through for a few seconds and cast God’s rays into the side lit waterfall.
Growing up in Australia, I was surrounded by an incredible landscape that captivated. When I was eight, my parents bought me a camera – and after a fateful snapshot of a spider web in the family garden – I was hooked. My travels have taken me to the most amazing locations around the world capturing landscapes that I could only once dream of shooting. I am so grateful for the beauty of this planet and I will never stop sharing it.
