Geometry in Vancouver

  • Photographer
    Paul Langereis, Canada

Having been around Vancouver as a child in the 1960s, I have seen monumental changes in the architectural style found in Vancouver's downtown core. I find architectural photography very interesting because you have to decide on the best angle to capture the essence of each building. Most of these submissions are an homage to Joel Tjintjelaar from Holland. He uses gradient masks to accentuate surfaces and the shape and form of a building or structure. This is a time consuming process, but the rewards are significant in my eyes.
