Year in Isolation

During this past year, much of what I saw looked deserted as if I was in a ghost town. Rarely seeing other people, what I encountered struck me as otherworldly, as though from another time, from a different Old West. Regardless of the peaceful setting, I felt an anticipation that something was about to happen. I was drawn to a palette that felt moodier rather than naturalistic. My lens choices reinforced this emotional interpretation my surroundings –at times distorted and almost unrecognizable.
