I love the harmony of sand dunes created by Newton's laws of physics. When I make light float upon the harmonious lines of the dunes, a colorful stream of light transforms Newton’s ‘B&W’ laws into a new animate concept: a new space of colorful combinations and strong emotions ..., human abstractions develop on the inanimate mathematical abstraction.
Ancient Armor is a mute witness recounting stories which are centuries old about bravery, fortitude, honesty as well as about deception, greed, betrayal. Most of nowadays' events and stories are already written on this old armor.
Over the last decades, Marek—a photographer for more than 40 years—has shifted his photographic technique from manual analog B&W to digital color photography. Marek creates a unique photography body of work from their journeys in Death Valley and Abu Dhabi deserts. The sophisticated image processing highlights colorful shapes and pure lines with breathtaking harmony.
Marek has presented solo exhibitions at international venues in Zurich (CH), Bern (CH), Barcelona (ESP), Campione (IT), London (UK), Prague (CZ).
