“A Stilled Life” explores the core of what is important in my life.Over 30 years,I’ve traveled the world,escaping life's mayhem with 4 kids.I’ve collected objects on these trips – natural sentient objects that have lives and memories of their own.They are my personal artifacts that transcend their ordinary appearance and provide comfort and memories of the simpler worlds I have experienced.In “A Stilled Life,”I combine these elements with the essence of my children,to convey the fragility and beauty of nature – both collected and conceived, and create a new way of looking at beauty and memory.
